She/Her
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Radford University and a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. My academic background has equipped me with a strong foundation in the principles and practices of counseling, allowing me to support individuals through various challenges effectively.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my career is the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals. I firmly believe that understanding and appreciating cultural diversity is essential in providing effective counseling services. My ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish has been instrumental in breaking down language barriers and fostering better communication and understanding with my clients, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of my counseling.
My passion lies in providing tools, emotional support, and education to those in need. I am dedicated to empowering my clients by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate their unique situations. I find great fulfillment in seeing my clients grow and thrive as they overcome their challenges.
My professional journey has seen me work extensively with both adolescents and adults who have experienced complex traumas. This experience has not only deepened my understanding of trauma recovery but also honed my resilience and empathy as a counselor. I have also been actively involved in providing a variety of community support resources to individuals and families, including helping them access essential services, offering guidance, and fostering a sense of community and support.
Outside of my professional life, I am keenly interested in traveling and exploring new places. Traveling allows me to experience different cultures and perspectives, which enriches my understanding and empathy as a counselor. I also enjoy puzzling, as it provides a relaxing yet stimulating way to unwind and sharpen my mind.
My dedication to the counseling field and my personal interests and experiences enable me to offer comprehensive and empathetic support to those I work with. I am committed to positively impacting lives and contributes and contributing to their personal growth and well-being.
