Shinavia is a fierce advocate and mental health professional who enjoys lifting up women and children. Shinavia enjoys making goals, plans, and encouraging exponential growth. She doesn’t stop until her client can say she is walking in the dream of the life that, until that point, didn’t seem possible. Kind, self-effacing, and down-to-earth, you may have found your best-sounding board.

Shinavia holds a graduate degree in Business Administration and is a COO at a company that provides support to youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs in Washington, DC.

Well accomplished, she didn’t stop there and completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in August 2021 as her next step in being able to serve women and their families. Shinavia is a Resident in Counseling working under the supervision of Michelle Kauble LPC. She is also undertaking a graduate certificate in Behavior Analysis and is working to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

In her spare time, to promote creative self-expression and self-care, she enjoys combining her culinary and helping skills to create dishes to share at themed events. Shinavia's colorful past includes working as a Chef in Europe, where she created decadent pastries and desserts. She is a delight and a huge asset to Apple Tree with all her skills and gifts.
