Amy believes that everyone can use help at various times in their lives and is passionate about helping clients live their best life—whatever that may look like to them—in a safe and supportive environment. Her role as your counselor is to walk alongside you and help you navigate your life’s journey. Amy has experienced the effects of alcoholism and drug addiction in her family and has compassion for struggling families. She is a self-described extrovert through and through but has been humbled by an introverted daughter who has taught her about the beauty of those in our world who are quiet.

Amy graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA with a degree in government. With a family history of Alzheimer’s disease, Amy began her career in the non-profit world advocating on behalf of senior citizens in the public policy arena. A life-longer learner (and dreamer), Amy has had a passion for helping people her entire life and took the leap to fulfill her dream to become a licensed professional counselor.

Amy is a Resident in Counseling working under the supervision of Michelle Kauble, MS, LPC. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

In her free time, she can usually be found on the sidelines of one of her three children’s (football, volleyball, baseball, basketball or lacrosse) games, cheering the loudest even though they can’t hear her. She also loves volunteering in their school lunchroom, which is one of her favorite things to do! Amy is a daily Peloton rider, practices yoga and Pilates, meditates and journals (maybe one day she will write a book). Self-care is important! Her favorite place to be is reading a book with her toes in the sand- and loves a good beach read recommendation!
